Who we are

The people behind the centre

We're a small integrative cancer care team in Gurugram, India. Here's why we opened, who you'll actually meet, and what you can hold us to.

A note from our founders

Why we opened this centre.

People ask why anyone would open a centre around one machine. It's a fair question, and the honest answer is that we didn't. We opened an integrative cancer care practice that happens to have a Cytotron® in it.

Families here were being asked to move cities for an hour of treatment a day. Some could. Most could not.

The ones who went were away from the oncologist who had looked after them for two years. The ones who stayed spent months wondering whether they'd let something slip past. Neither is a fair position to put a family in, and it had very little to do with medicine.

What I can promise you is this. We will read your file properly before we say anything about it. We will tell you when we think this will help, and just as plainly when we think it will not. We will talk to your oncologist rather than around them. And nobody here will ever rush you into a decision, because that is not how anyone should be choosing cancer treatment.

A diagnosis arrives with a second set of problems nobody warns you about. Where to stay. How much this is going to cost by the end. Who collects the children while you're at an appointment. Weeks go on arranging all of it, and none of that arranging is care.

So the part I look after is the unglamorous part. Your costs are fixed in writing before anything starts, and they do not move. Appointments are built around the chemotherapy you are already having, not the other way round. If you're travelling to us, someone here has already thought about where you'll stay and what the visa needs.

None of that shortens a treatment course by a day. It does mean a family can spend what they have left on each other rather than on logistics, and after watching this illness up close, that struck me as worth building.

We're not a large hospital and we don't intend to become one. You'll see the same faces each time you come in, and the person who read your file in week one will be the person who reads your scan in week eight.

The centre

What the place is like

You'll be coming here most days for a few weeks, so it's worth knowing what you're walking into.

  • A dedicated treatment suite, so you're never waiting in a corridor
  • Private consultation rooms, with proper seating for whoever comes with you
  • Step-free access throughout and wheelchair-width doorways
  • On-site parking, so you aren't circling the block before an appointment

If there's something you need to make coming here easier, ask. We'd rather sort it out than have you struggle quietly.

Our promises

What you can hold us to

These aren't slogans. If we fall short on any of them, tell us.

  • We'll talk to your oncologist — every time, with your permission, from the first week.
  • We'll give you a straight answer about what's realistic, including when the answer is that this isn't for you.
  • We won't rush you. Take the plan home, sleep on it, ring us with the 11pm questions.
  • Your costs are fixed in writing before anything starts, and they don't move.
  • We'll look after your family too. They're carrying more than they let on.
  • We'll still be here afterwards. Ring us in six months if you want to talk something through.
