Important information
How to read this website, how we look after your personal information, and the terms on which we provide it. Please ask us if anything here is unclear.
About the information on this website
This website helps you understand Cytotron® therapy and what we offer at our Gurugram, India centre. It is general information rather than personal medical advice, and reading it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Your own doctors know your case in detail and their advice should always take precedence.
Cytotron® therapy complements standard cancer care. It is planned into the wider treatment your oncologist provides, with the sequencing decided case by case — never as a replacement for that treatment, and never as a cure.
Recognition. The Cytotron® holds US FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for solid tumours of the breast, liver and pancreas, granted 31 October 2019 — an expedited review pathway. It has been CE marked in the European Union since 2012 and is approved for clinical use by the SFDA in Saudi Arabia and COFEPRIS in Mexico. The Indian regulatory position is being confirmed with CDSCO, and we will state it here precisely once we have it in writing.
Research and outcomes. This is an area of active research. Individual responses vary, so outcomes cannot be guaranteed by us or by anyone else. We will always give you our honest view of what is realistic in your situation.
Privacy notice
Cytotron by Viraaka Healthcare is the data fiduciary for personal information collected through this website, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We take this seriously, because much of what you share with us is deeply personal.
What we collect
- Contact details — name, phone number, email address and city.
- Health information you choose to share — cancer type, stage, treatment status, reports and scans. We treat this as sensitive personal information.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and pages viewed.
How we use it
- To review your records and reply to you
- To assess whether treatment suits you, and to plan it if you go ahead
- To communicate with your treating oncologist, with your permission
- To meet our record-keeping obligations as a healthcare provider
How we protect it
Medical records are stored securely and access is limited to clinical staff involved in your care. We do not sell your information, use it for third-party marketing, or pass your details to other clinics or device manufacturers. We share it beyond our team only where you have asked us to, where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone from serious harm.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are kept only for as long as we need them to answer you properly, and are then deleted. Clinical records are retained in line with Indian medical record-keeping requirements. If you want to know exactly what we hold about you and for how long, write to us and we will tell you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold, ask us to correct or delete it where we are free to do so, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to Viraaka@getintouch.zohodesk.in and we will help.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies it needs in order to work. We do not run advertising pixels and we do not sell or share browsing data. If we add analytics or any other non-essential cookie later, we will say so here and ask for your consent first.
